Makes a tonne of sense, and I think you are correct, for certain types of work this could actually be the best way to price.
Love your point at the bottom about value over hours, many times I have ended up working more than paid for, so having that mindset of ‘ok we messed this up a bit but let’s keep pushing anyways because we have a change to deliver something of real value’ is great!
